Our channels aim to “build a relationship” of trust with viewers by engaging, reflecting their values and encouraging their aspirations. This harnesses the advantages of linear channels over VOD and is achieved by building channels based on key principles:

 FOCUS

Our channels are created to target focused viewer demographics and deliver what they want. Because we are a distribution business with access to hundreds of thousands of hours of supplier partners’ content, we are uniquely able to adjust channels until they hit the spot, based on viewing metrics.

ENGAGEMENT

Viewer engagement increases session times, creates a community, drives channel identification/ownership, builds channel loyalty and delivers platform retention.

RESPECT

Respect for the viewer is paramount in the ad supported (FAST) space where all too often “free” equals “old, cheap and nasty” and many channels are a dumping ground for unsellable content.

By contrast, our “free” channels are also “premium” channels and are packaged to “PayTV operator” specs in terms of all the critical channel elements including presentation; channel imaging; content age, quality and refresh rate; EPG quality; viewer engagement initiatives and channel social media support.

We believe there is no such thing as a free channel because viewers are donating their time to the channel and its advertisers, and they deserve to get full value
